We believe in the power of individuals working in community to create a groundswell of positive change for people and the planet. We believe hope rather than doom inspires action, that solutions are available if we listen, and even amidst massive upheaval, there is great opportunity…but we must act now. Through podcasts and other media, we bring a new discourse to light that incorporates all genders, races and ages, as well as the voice of Nature and the precious resources needed to sustain life. In this way, we will rebalance, heal, and create bounty, beauty and peace for ourselves and future generations.
Knowing that most of us turn to music for support, healing, and celebration, a group calling ourselves the J&A Wheel of Reciprocity has come together to specifically braid together notions of reciprocity and generosity with the
particular music and spirit of Jami Sieber and her spouse Agu. Over the last 4 decades, Jami has gifted us with her remarkable talents as a cellist, cultural worker, and healer. While artists find a place in our hearts, they rarely find
economic security. We invite you to join us in spinning the wheel of generosity - creating what Dr. King called Beloved Community - with Jami Sieber and her spouse, Agu, a retired public schoolteacher and cultural worker herself. We are grateful to Belladonna.
ONE BILLION RISING FOR JUSTICE is a global call to women survivors of violence and those who love them to gather safely in community outside places where they are entitled to justice – courthouses, police stations, government offices, school administration buildings, work places, sites of environmental injustice, military courts, embassies, places of worship, homes, or simply public gathering places where women deserve to feel safe but too often do not. It is a call to survivors to break the silence and release their stories – politically, spiritually, outrageously – through art, dance, marches, ritual, song, spoken word, testimonies and whatever way feels right.
